Bogor, 3 October 2026 - Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bogor once again welcomed prospective students and the public to its campus for an Open House on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The interactive event offered a first-hand look at student life, campus facilities, and career prospects in the hospitality industry.
The program began with registration and a campus profile video. After the opening remarks and the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, Tasya gave a comprehensive overview of the study programs, admission pathways, and scholarship schemes. An ice-breaking session then lifted the mood ahead of the Alumni Sharing Session.
For this session, STP Bogor invited one of its alumnae, Mahesha Herdiena Poetri, S.Tr.Par., now Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Swiss Belhotel Bogor. Mahesha recounted her journey from her student days at STP Bogor to a managerial position at a four-star hotel, emphasizing the importance of practical skills and a strong work ethic.
"Studying at STP Bogor gave me a very solid foundation, especially because the curriculum is so practice-oriented. The skills I learned on campus proved their value the moment I stepped into hotel operations," Mahesha told the prospective students.
The session continued with a Q&A and a group photo with Mahesha. Students then took the stage to showcase their skills. Try Cahyo entertained the audience with a juggling act, Fasya demonstrated how to make pancakes, and Ade presented neat, precise towel art. Open House participants were also invited to try juggling, pancake making, and towel folding for themselves. The performances and hands-on sessions showed that STP Bogor students not only learn in the classroom but also hone their talents and build confidence.
Participants then joined a Campus Tour to see the facilities up close. They visited classrooms, the outdoor gym, the computer lab, the library, the mock-up room, the housekeeping practice area, and the campus restaurant and kitchen. In the kitchen, Andra explained how the practice kitchen works and invited participants to try flambé. The tour gave prospective students a clear picture of daily learning and practice at STP Bogor.
Afterward, guests enjoyed a special lunch. The main dish, a rice bowl, was cooked and served by STP Bogor student Andra, accompanied by pancakes served by Fasya and refreshing drinks served by Try. The meal reflected the culinary skills of STP Bogor students.
The Open House closed with prize games, a group photo, and a post-test. Through this event, STP Bogor reaffirmed its commitment to bridging education and industry needs, preparing graduates to compete and take on strategic roles in the hospitality sector, both in Indonesia and abroad.
Open House participants have already experienced the excitement of learning and practicing at STP Bogor. But other Grade 12 students still have the same chance! Batch 56 Early Booking registration remains open until December 2026 for classes starting in August 2027. Secure your spot and take the first step toward a career in hospitality with STP Bogor.
