Collaboration between tourism education and industry has been strengthened once again through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bogor and PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, part of InJourney Hospitality. The signing took place on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, in Jakarta, at Sarinah. For STP Bogor, this is not merely a ceremony to sign a cooperation document, but an important starting point in building a more structured student career-development pathway connected directly to one of the largest hospitality groups in Indonesia.
This collaboration within the InJourney Hospitality environment was signed by the Head of STP Bogor, Dina Hariani, S.Hum., M.Par., Ph.D, representing Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor, and Peter Alexander Fritz, Director of Operations of InJourney Hospitality, representing PT Hotel Indonesia Natour.
PT Hotel Indonesia Natour is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) subsidiary under PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), which oversees the InJourney group comprising several business units: InJourney Airports, InJourney Aviation Services, InJourney Destination Management, InJourney Tourism Development Corporation, InJourney Hospitality, and InJourney Retail. STP Bogor, meanwhile, is a private higher-education institution offering undergraduate and vocational programs, namely the Bachelor of Tourism (S1 Pariwisata), the Applied Bachelor of Hospitality (D4 Perhotelan), and the Diploma of Hospitality (D3 Perhotelan).
This cooperation follows an earlier exploratory meeting between the two parties on potential collaboration, as part of a shared effort to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at STP Bogor, with the aim of accelerating the advancement of knowledge, improving the quality of education, and strengthening human-resource competencies in tourism and hospitality.
Under this memorandum, InJourney Hospitality is willing to support STP Bogor by facilitating internship programs for STP Bogor students across the InJourney Hospitality environment, opening opportunities for joint research and community service in tourism and hospitality, and providing job openings for STP Bogor graduates within InJourney Hospitality.
The signing of this MoU affirms STP Bogor's commitment to continually expanding its network of industry partnerships to support the work-readiness of its students and graduates. Synergy between educational institutions and national-scale hospitality players such as InJourney Hospitality is an important foundation for producing a generation of hospitality professionals who are better prepared, professional, and competitive.
The memorandum STP Bogor signed with InJourney Hospitality is just one of the memoranda STP Bogor has signed with dozens of hotels, resorts, and national and international tourism destinations, reflecting the industry's enthusiasm to collaborate with STP Bogor. This collaboration is also proof of the industry's trust in Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor as an educational institution capable of producing work-ready graduates and open to ongoing collaboration with industry.
For 27 years, STP Bogor has remained committed to producing outstanding hospitality talent through practice-based learning, industry partnerships, and a broad alumni network. More than 90% of STP Bogor graduates have been successfully absorbed into the workforce, with many building careers even before officially graduating.
