BOGOR KOTA, Bogor24.id — During the last year’s pandemic, students were unable to take part in face-to-face learning and practice on campus, making dozens of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor students enthusiastic about participating in the Coaching Clinic session conducted by the Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Chairman of the Indonesian Chef Association (ICA), Regional Leader of Bogor Raya Branch, Chef Zahakir Haris.
As many as 22 students who took part in the activity with the implementation of strict COVID-19 protocols at the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor Campus, Yasmin, West Bogor, Bogor City received various learning materials about pastry provided by Chef Zahakir Haris.
The man who is also the owner of Tandi’s Homemade Bakery explained, because it is still in the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), participants are only limited to 22 people.“So, now to enter to the campus, you must have a vaccine certificate. Very tight. There must be a letter of permission from the parents. However, those who are now participating in this activity are very enthusiastic,” wrote Chef Zahakir Haris.
Regarding the learning materials he delivered, he said that the students were given many things. Starting from the secret tricks to make sweet bread, food costing calculation, and precious tips how to made good bread that rises perfectly.
“Earlier, I also conveyed about some secret tricks and how to promote our pastry products into the suitable market, especially during a pandemic like now,” said Chef Zahakir Haris.
Seeing the enthusiasm of the students, he noticed that they were very happy after a long absence from various activities on campus. Although it is currently still improving, all activities are still in strict limitation.
“Due to the enthusiasm of students and the limited time available, in the next two weeks it will be continued for the second session,” he concluded.
