(30/1) Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor has organized a Coaching Clinic for Research Grants and Community Service Proposals with LLDIKTI Region IV Banten & West Java. The activity, which was held on Thursday, October 28th, 2021, was attended by the Chairperson of the organizer as well as the Chairperson of the LPPM of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor; Mrs. Dr. (Cand.) Sri Pujiastuti, SE, M.Par., the Chair of the Committee and Head of Research at the LPPM of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor; Mrs. Dhanik Puspita Sari, M.Pd., M.Par. It was also attended by the Head of the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor, Mrs. Seruni Dinitri, S.KM., M. Par. as well as all lecturers and academics of the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor.
The Coaching Clinic event also presented the Coaching Clinic Team from the Region IV Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI); namely Mr. Agus Supriatna, S.Sos., M.Sc. as the LLDIKTI Region IV Academic Sub Coordinator who acts as Team Leader, Mr. Agus Gumilar, S.T., M.Kom. as the Academic Data Analyst who explained the technical procedures in the Upload Proposal process at Simlitabmas and Mr. Dr. Palti Marulitua Sitorus, M.M. as the National Reviewer who is highly expected by academics at Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor.
In the opening session that delivered by Mrs. Sri Pujiastuti, she hoped that the output of the Coaching Clinic activity would be so that lecturers could make a Research Proposal for DRPM Funding of the Ministry of Education and Culture for Research and Technology and could upload the proposal on the Simlitabmas webpage in order to advancing the national economy based on science and technology.
The event started with being guided by Mrs. Gisca Septy Arini Rosmawan, S.ST. as the MC, singing the national anthem; Indonesia Raya and reading a prayer by Mr. Sekti Rahardjo, S.E., M.M., and the moderator, Mrs. Yuviani Kusumawardhani, S.E., M.Si.. The Coaching Clinic activity is carried out in a hybrid manner (Online and Offline) in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health regarding the implementation of activities during the pandemic, that the public has begun to be allowed to hold events that invite many people, of course by adhering to health protocols, such as keeping a distance and wearing masks. as well as the availability of hand sanitizer and hand washing facilities.
After delivering his opening remarks, Agus Supriatna, S.Sos., M.Sc. as the Academic Sub Coordinator of LLDIKTI IV explained LLDIKTI IV’s policies in increasing research productivity and higher education community service, the condition of Risbang and its Clusters, he also explained issues of relevance in the fields of research and community service, research policies to Research Protocols in the midst of a Pandemic.
Agus Gumilar, S.T., M.Kom. as an Academic Data Analyst, demonstrated the mechanism for proposing research on the Simlitabmas webpage, the procedure for synchronizing lecturer accounts, and he explained the main factors for passing research which were very much needed by Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bogor academics in improving lecturers’ research abilities.
Dr. Palti Marulitua Sitorus, M.M. as a National Reviewer who has obtained various competency certificates, one of which is as a Research Reviewer by Quantum HRM International; explaining in detail the components in institutional performance assessment and Research Implementation Assessment Components, he also emphasized the importance of the Research Road Map in Higher Education. As a National Reviewer, he explained in detail the review process starting from Administrative Evaluation such as track record, qualifications and supporting documents to research substance. The activity which lasted for 8 hours was also filled with an interactive question and answer session between the speakers and participants.
The Coaching Clinic activity aims to helping and improving the ability of researchers in the higher education environment to produce many products of science, technology, art, culture, and build many collaboration between campuses and many stakeholders (as partnerships) who use research results, promote Indonesian research capacity, competences and synergy.
